The University representatives took part in the "Space Exploration"

A round table on subject "Cinema and Space: combining the past and the future" was held in Presidential Library  named after Boris Yeltsin. It was held within the Film Forum  "Space exploration: the conservation and promotion of historical and cultural heritage” and was dedicated to the Year of Russian cinema and the 55th anniversary of the first manned flight into space. Students and professors of our University took part as listeners and speakers in the event.

The round table was attended by the heads and staff of public authorities, experts, representatives of universities and libraries, museums, archives and other organizations providing public access to the cultural heritage.

The main topics of discussion were: the monuments of space exploration, space travel science, and questions of historical and cultural heritage, the disclosure and promotion of the "space heritage" in the traditional and electronic media, space exploration and cinematography heritage.
