September 6, 2014 the crew of the film "White Nights of  Postman  Alexey Tryapitsyn " looked forward to the announcement of the results of the 71th Venice Film Festival. Award for Best Director, which Andrei Konchalovsky has won, became a momentous event for the Russian cinema. The University of Film and Television is also proud, because our graduates worked  in crew of this film.

One of them, the sound director Polina Volynkina, shared her impressions of working with the master with Gukit.ru.

The first time  Polina Volynkina and Andrei Konchalovsky collaborated  while working on dubbing the Russian version of the film "The Nutcracker and the Rat King":

- It was a real gift of fate for me when I was invited to  work on the next film "White Nights of postman Alexei Tryapitsyn", - says Polina.

There are a lot of scenes that were not easy for sound director and his team, it has required a special creativity. For example, the scene of the appearance of the mystical cat, or a scene where the protagonist hears "music of the spheres".
