"Disney" is looking for talents: a contest for the best scripts is open

Students of the University of Film and Television attended the master class of Vladimir Vereshchagin, director of the television and film production department of Disney company. Vladimir told the students about the project "Happiness is ...", in which any beginning cinematographer can take part.

At the master class Vladimir Vereshchagin told the students about the project "Happiness is ..." and the terms of the competition. Among the listeners was a lot of future directors and playwrights, who were eager to send an application for the contest. The first almanac, consisting of 7 short films, was a success with the audience.

The jury, consisting of well-deserved cultural figures, will carefully select the works and choose the best ones that will form the basis of the new almanac. Vladimir told about all stages of the contest and the nuances in choosing the best works. The contest gives a chance not only to prove oneself, but also to acquire useful acquaintances for a creative career.

The main theme of short films is happiness. Vladimir noted that happiness is not the same for everyone, so it is not necessary to adhere to stereotyped views. The host of the master class shared his desire to find new talents that can make people change the view of the audience about Russian cinema.

Students listened attentively to the advices of a professional in the field of cinema, which may be useful in the future. According to Vladimir Vereshchagin, the preliminary work before the creation of the film is the most important part of the process.

After the first part of the master class, many students asked questions, which were mainly on the topic of the contest "Happiness is ...". It was obvious that the guys were interested in creating the future almanac, and, probably, some of them will manage to win the jury's attention with their idea.

Vladimir Vereshchagin stressed that the studio "Disney" is waiting from the students of the University of Cinema and Television for applications that will differ in the quality of ideas and the absence of cliches.
