7 November 2019

At PeterKiT International Student Film Festival, which takes place during the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, will be meeting with an American screenwriter, director and producer, graduate of Oxford University, Master Paul Brown.

The American cinematographer has more than a hundred films, series, pilots and television films. Paul Brown took an active part in creating such cult projects as “The X-Files”, “Quantum Leap”, “Twilight Zone”, “Star Trek: Voyager” and “Star Trek: Enterprise”. He was nominated three times for the Emmy Award and Golden Globe. Paul Brown is a laureate of the Edgar Award, founded by Mystery Writers of America, for "Best Television Drama Screenplay."

The main theme of the creative meeting will be the creation of a multifaceted character who experiences crazy passions and who wants to empathize and sympathize with. Using examples of fragments from the movie “Silver Linings Playbook”, which won several Oscars in 2013, Paul Brown will explain how the audience takes control of emotions and helps to feel the rapture and delight of the wonderful power of love.
