A student of St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television became the winner of the International Russian language Olympiad for foreigners

A third-year student of our university, studying in the field of "Television", Nguyen Duy Phong from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was awarded the 1st degree diploma of the winner of the International Online Olympiad in Russian as a Foreign Language. The awarding ceremony for the finalists of the Olympiad took place at St. Petersburg State University on 29 January 2020.


Over seven thousand schoolchildren and students from all over the world took part at the International Online Olympiad in Russian as a Foreign Language but only 500 of them took prizes of honor. The competition was attended by lovers of the Russian language from 131 countries. The finalists received memorable gifts and textbooks to improve their knowledge, as well as a voucher for free state testing in Russian as a foreign language at St. Petersburg State University or in one of 80 partner centers around the world.

Congratulations to Nguyen Duy Phong on the victory, as well as thanks to the professor of the Department of Media and Communication Technologies, Ph.D, professor Victoria Yurievna Prokofyeva, under whose direction Fong was preparing for the Olympiad.
