Films of the students of SPUFT were included in the program of the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival

5 films of students and graduates of the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television were selected for the screening at the XVII Kazan International Muslim Film Festival.

The program includes the following films: Bath Day by Maria Antonova, The Last Call by Vyacheslav Belomestnykh, Tatevik by Helen Zargaryan, Suspension by Alexander Anisimov, My beloved sister is already asleep by Vladimir Koptsev. The films were presented by Nadezhda Sabelnikova, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor at the Department of Film and Television Producing Business of SPUFT, Member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, member of the Eurasian Academy of Film and Television, Director of the Fall in Love with Art Festival, General Producer of the Cinemakids Film Festival:

– Our university was represented in the special program of the festival. The screenings of student's films of the workshops of A. N. Sokurov, S. M. Ovcharov and A.M. Antonov were held with great success.  

The Kazan International Muslim Film Festival has been held in the capital of Tatarstan since 2005. The first festival was organized on the initiative of the Council of Muftis of Russia, the Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan supported by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
