CILECT General Assembly Takes Place Online

On November 13, 2020, CILECT General Assembly was organised online.

St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television has been successfully cooperating with CILECT International Association of Film and Television Schools, and it is a full member of the organization.

At the General Assembly 2020, the CILECT budget and plans were discussed, as well as voting for new members of the association was carried out.

St. Petersburg State Univeristy of Film and Television was represented by Galina Tsimmerman, PhD, the Head of the International Relations Office, and Anna Oskina, a Leading Specialist of the Department of International Academic Mobility.

The International Association of Film and Television Schools (Centre International de Liaison des Ecoles de Cinéma et de Télévision – CILECT) was founded in Cannes, France, in 1954. By 2020, CILECT includes over 180 audio-visual educational institutions from 65 countries with 9,000+ teachers and staff that annually train 55,000+ students. CILECT is committed to developing and promoting the highest standards of education, research and training for film, television and related media through establishing and organizing global and regional forums for the exchange of artistic, pedagogical, methodological and managerial best practices for all its members.
