Information for foreign citizens entering the university within the quota of Russian Government in 2022

In 2022 the Saint Petersburg State University of Film and Television will accept foreign citizens and stateless persons for training within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2150 from 12/18/2020 "For education in the Russian Federation at the expense of the Federal funds of the Russian Federation within the quota for foreign citizens and stateless persons").


Information about admission procedure in 2022


Enrollment is conducted in the following training programs / majors:

Bachelor's Degree Programs:

  • 42.03.01 Advertising and PR

  • 42.03.04 Television

  • 51.03.02 Folk Art Culture

  • 54.03.04 Restoration

Specialist's programs:

  • 52.05.01 Actor’s Art

  • 54.05.03 Graphics

  • 55.05.01 Film and TV Directing

  • 55.05.02 Sound Production of Audio-Visual Arts

  • 55.05.03 Cinematographer

  • 55.05.04 Producing

Candidates for quota training take entrance tests with other applicants during the summer admission campaign that will be held from 07/07/2022 to 25/07/2022.

In the above-mentioned training programs / majors, candidates for quota training need to pass only additional creative and professional entrance tests.

In addition, students of preparatory faculties/departments studying Russian as a foreign language have an opportunity to take additional creative and professional entrance tests in the period from 03/28/2022 to 04/01/2022.

Entrance tests are not provided for applicants within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation for the training program 42.03.01 "Advertising and public relations". Enrollment is conducted within the number of quota places declared by the institute for a particular training program.

To the attention of candidates enrolling for the training program 52.05.01 "Actor’s Art"!

Candidates enrolling for the training program 52.05.01 "Actor’s Art" are required to undergo professional interview. The dates of the interviews will be published on the SPUFT website in May 2022.

Applicants who successfully passed professional interview need to submit documents to the admission committee within the established time frame.


Master's degree programs:

  • 42.04.04 Television

  • 51.04.02 Folk art culture

  • 52.04.02 Dramaturgy

Candidates for training within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation, who enroll in master's degree programs, take additional creative and professional entrance tests in the period from 20/07/2022 to 29/07/2022.

The candidate is enrolled at the university after the approval of his/her candidacy based on the results of the university entrance tests and receiving a referral for training from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

We are notifying foreign applicants that SPUFT issues invitation letters for citizens of visa countries only after enrolling at the university.
