The Activity of International Relations Office

The International Relations Office (IRO)  of St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television was founded in 2011.

 The main purpose of functioning of IRO is the arrangement and coordination SPUFT participation in international cooperation programs aimed to improve the quality of educational programs and researches and to increase the international prestige of the University.

The Office aims to integrate the University into the world scientific, educational and information space and also to organize the international academic mobility programs.

 Now the International Relations Office has 2 departments: the Department of International Education and the Department of International Academic Mobility.

The Department of International Education works with foreign citizens coming for training, internships and conferences to the University, processing them invitations, informing them of the rules of admission for foreign students and the main provisions of the rules of entry, registration and stay of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation.

The Department of International Academic Mobility performs the function of representation of the University at international meetings and other international contacts; presents the SPUFT international activities during the meetings with applicants, students, faculty; forms the programs of international cooperation in education and research; assists the university faculty in composition the  international cooperation programs; arranges the  programs of academic mobility for students and professors, assists in organizing international conferences, symposium, meetings with filmmakers, lectures and workshops of professors and film and television professionals from different countries.
